2. there’s one of them performing this song in the studio, too–plus bunches of ’em in concert–but this is the one i remember from mtv in the good old days when mtv was fresh and exciting and played almost nothing but music videos. i used to get high and watch viddy after viddy on mtv (this was thirty years ago).

3. I liked Duran Duran (oh Simon!) and The Police, and watched their videos over and over. But I did not get high. The boys had all the weed and they wanted nothing to do with me.
