i wanted to be a hero but there
were no openings. positions were
available only in heel. i would
have to start out there and work my way up,
a daunting corporate ladder for
any go-getter to climb, although it
looks to be guaranteed lifetime employment.
there might even be a pension at
the end, and meanwhile, along the way, there
will be everything i can possibly steal.
