Jeff drove through the Long Day’s Journey Into Death to Kimberly’s town and they went to a restaurant and then to a concert and then to a bed and a week later he wrote her a letter and told her it was over. He chose to write the letter on a day that was a special anniversary for them so she would know he wasn’t fooling and he didn’t care.
